Last week I had the pleasure of meeting
Billy Leroy, New York Antique dealer and actor in the film
dirty old town which was being shown for only the second time at St. Leonards church, Shoreditch, truly the most unusual venue for a film I've been to. The event was put together by the people who brought us
East end Promise, an exhibition Proper East proudly supported which documented the the art, music and people that frequented dirty shoreditch throughout the 80's and early 90's before the masses felt it safe enough to wonder it's now shiny streets.
